Hesitantly would she raise  her  hand, shrugging  slightly.
So, maybe the afternoon ‘fun time’ hadn’t gone  as  she
had planned. Actually, it had  gone  horribly  wrong, but
she wasn’t going to allow it to get the better of her.  Her
arm reaches to hook around his  &&  she  shrugs  again,
skipping forward in an attempt to lighten the mood.

               'Okay, so maybe that wasn’t so fun, but hey !!
