ways does.

                   ‘ooooor, how ‘bout you leave me alone for the rest of my
                    life & i go get ice cream with dipper ?!           i think i like
                    that a lot better.’ 

             she almost feels MEAN-almost- until she remembers the things
             he’s done & all the letters he has written & she doesn’t regret a
             single word.  

                           ‘seriously, gideon. are you even old enough to
                           go on a date with me ?                   or… anyone ?’
